I started the CYWT program 3 weeks before I had to go to Barbados. At first I saw no change, except I realized I could stay on something longer than a day, however when I returned from my trip and I didn't follow the plan for 5 days I lost three pounds and 1 percent body fat, amazing...

It's a program from Joel Marion. Basically you have a 'cheat day' say on a saturday where you eat whatever and whenever you want aslong as you are not totally stuffing yourself beyond full.

Then the next 2 days are low carb ( protein and veges) followed by 2 days LOW GI ( lots of protein and low Gi carbs fruits etc) and then the remaining two days are slightly higher Gi, so you can include wholegrain pasta, rice, bread etc) all in moderation, 6 small meals a day.

I'm slightly changing my days to 3 low carb,2 low GI and 1 higher Gi then cheat day.

Exercise is HIIT as well as strength training.

There's plenty of good fats, carbs etc it's all to do with the leptin hormone...
